Question What supplements havent you taken?

I havent taken a shit load, but as far as the norm goes, I have never purchased or taken any BCAAs in powder or pill form. Am I missing out on this or am I getting enough of this from meats?

BCAAs seem to improve recovery so you would focus taking them around your workout. Otherwise I would just opt for protein as it's a lot cheaper nad taste is generally better.

There's probably a lot of product catgories I haven't tried. Never tried any ph product because of the need for PCT plus I'm not sure if I want to run them.

To the best of my understanding, it is best to use BCAA's when you either on a bulk or a cut, ie when you are trying to achieve a goal.
On a bulk, you can drink them pre-workout, during the workout, and post workout. More "protein" for the muscles, in a situation where a protein shake won't feel right digesting. I think BCAA's are assimilated faster anyhow.
On a cut, BCAA's are important as the body is in a catabolic state. The preservation of muscle tissue would be easier to accomplish with BCAA's on the workouts.

Are the BCAAs in Protien shakes enough, or should one get a separate BCAA sup?

After almost 2 weeks... I am back and better than ever.

I think BCAA's are kinda pricy for how often you have to take them. I just rely on the BCAAs in my protein powder

Think of them as supplements to your supplements... they are extra

Ive never taken them nor felt like I should. I see some bodybuilders at the gyms have them in their bag. I figure they are just using whatever they can. However, I suppose its not a must.

I know there are more supplements out there, I just read a shit load about them in 2 magazines. Some for maintaining mass, gaining mass/strength, losing weight...

I didn't take BCAA's on my last cut, but I am this time. I think I have retained more of my lbm this time on fewer calories. IMO I will continue taking them even when I'm bulking. They are only about 10 bucks for a huge bottle.

Where and which kind do you get? If they are cheap enough, might as well pick them up and give it a go.
