Horsepower - Weird side effect.. "the itch"

Just started taking Ultimate Nutrition's Horsepower after reading a really positive review in the logs.. Though I'm experiencing a funny side effect.. A couple minutes after I take the stuff my face feels really hot, and my skin has a weird tingly sensation.

I have the lemon-lime stuff and it's extremely sour, so I thought that might be doing it to me, but I figured I'd better see if anyone else has experienced anything similar..

Sounds like paresthesia that one gets from beta-alanine or niacin. I would guess that the product contains one of these.

Ha ha I know what ya mean buddy, I have the lemon lime also. Its tough stuff but decent pumps. I used to get a tingly feeling for a few seconds but after the first week it stopped. Does all the power get stuck to the sides of the shaker too for you or did I just get a bad batch?
