Ensure

Yes Ensure the drink of everyones grandparents. I was wondering if that would be ok to drink during a bulk. I have trouble drinking a MRP during a meal because it fills me up to easy. Would be ok to drink a ensure or slimfast during the meal to get extra cals in.

There is a "high protein" type of Ensure, but it really isn't sufficient in my opinion. If it fits in with your bulking plan, it's fine...but yes, there are sugars, and there are better options. Personally I would definitely prefer a simple chicken breast and some oatmeal or some other 'real food' rather than Ensure, but if it works for you, it's fine.

*has bad memories of Ensure...shudder*

If you're just trying to get in extra calories I guess it okay. But even their high protein version is not that high in protein and it's still high in sugar. www.ensure.com/OurProducts/EnsureHighProtein.asp

...I wouldn't touch it! I'd switch to a protein shake w/ flax....it shouldn't fill you up to the point you couldn't drink it!

I kind of laugh when it says "high protein" I dont think increasing to 12 grams considered high protein.
