    why supplement creatine

    i understand why we would need to suppliment protein, but creatine is made in the body, so why would we need to suppliment it?, also if you start supplimenting it wont your natural production decrease?

    from all ive gathered about natural creatine is that most of it we get from animal meats, not so much from are own production

    It's producted from arginine and I think a couple other things but you will get only a couple grams at most even with a diet that has meats. The key word is supplement. You use a creatine supplement to increase creatine levels in your body by 5grams or however much you take.

    dietary creatine is nowhere near the amount needed to get the effects of supplemental creatine.
