I was just wondering if it is ok to continue taking my multivitamin twice a day because I noticed it contains 4mg of iron. The reason why I am asking is because I just bought it and don't really have that much money to waste on another bottle.

Thanks!
If you are eating a balanced and sufficient diet then muliti-vits are not needed. Are they a good idea? I think they are good to ensure you get all the vits/minerals you need. In lieu of stopping all together, just take them once a day or half a dose and they will last twice as long. In the mean time look for a less expensive source.
If you always have a great day, you will always have a great life.

when I was 200lbs and bulking I would take two per day, but it does depend on the amounts in the multi you're using as certain vitamins and minerals can be toxic in high doses, i.e. fat soluble vitamins (A,D,E,K), whereas a water soluble vitamins like B & C can be taken in very high doses without any problems. and if your concern is only the iron you can get a multiple that is iron free, Twin Lab makes one.
