creatine - how long does it last

iv read about the atp systems etc and how creatine can help you get that 10-15sec 'burst' of explosive energy to do few extra reps etc.

my question is this - how much does a serving (i take 5g) daily last for?

say your squatting and you need that 'burst' from the creatine is that your lot for the day? as in after the 10 secs its depleated so is that it or does the creatine-induced 'burst' come back again later in the workout? as in do you only get the benefits for a couple of reps per workout or will it continue to give you energy to maybe get an extra rep on all your sets?

im just curious so if anybody knows id like to find out

    thanks

Creatine itself isn't really designed to give you bursts of energy.Perhaps you are thinking of the various NO powders on the market that happen to contain creatine. The creatine itself is going to help you gradually build muscle and gain power but not not fast enough that you will just suddenly get it in the middle of a set.

creatine helps to increase muscular endurance and offset fatigue. it supplements the ATP which your muscles use for the quick jolt of energy

creatine only lasts a short period of time in the body, thats why its suggested you dose it twice a day, everyday
