Supplements' Prices Going Up In NY?

I wasn't aware of this until I received an email and read about. Does anybody else know anything about this and how this can affect us? New York State residents.
A few links:

National Nutritional Foods Association: Take Action

I read the information and according to these the supplements may get more expensive in New York State. So it means that if the pass this bill we'll be going to NJ to get our protein, because it says that, if approved, the new law will require companies to have a special label just for New York State.

Please comments and let's try to do something to prevent this from happening.

It doesn't make sense to me, so guys help each other in NY state by sending our opinion regarding this matter. Go to the links and find where you can write to our congressmen.
And yes! It is retarded!

Its about time....Finally a decent bill that will eventually eradicate all the junk supplement retailers are trying to sell us from their store shelves here in NY. That is what this bill is trying to do. Once this bill is passed you can go to 49 other states and continue to pay for the junk most supplement retailers sell on their shelves!

Id rather pay a bit more for the tested supplements than waste my money on the worthless stuff.

just about 2 weeks ago i was in GNC and the cashier brought up that prices on protein shakes would be going up by proly 5-6$ because of the bullshit going on with milk prices and all. although i thought that was pretty retarded i guess it somewhat made sense. milk here is around $3.20 i think. luckily i rarely buy anything from GNC these days and get all my stuff from awesome sites online :]
