    eh..energy?

i dont like my job but its the only thing i got right now and i cant do anything about it. i get up around 4:45 so i can take my nitrix, get ready, do what i gota do, pack a lunch, eat breakfast, etc etc. takes about 25 minutes to drive to our current job site location we have now. gota be there by 6:30 and ready to start moving and working. im usually slow until around 10 heh. then i start feeling a bit better, more awake, and like i can actually do something. i take a multi-vitamin with an "energy enhancer" in it every morning. but it must not be doing too well. my job is kicking my ass. anyone got any suggestions for some super early morning energy? i usually try to drink a java monster energy drink (coffee and monster energy) while driving to work. but i cant really say this does a whole lot either. my breakfast usually goes something like this..

oatmeal, banana, couple slices of whole grain wheat bread, 2 scoops syntha-6 with 11oz water

ive been trying to add the syntha-6 to see if maybe itd help me work throughout the day better and i wouldnt end up as tired/sore. i do alot of digging in hard, sometimes solid, sometimes rocky dirt. sometimes gota whip out a picaxe and go nuts, sometimes gotta bust through 20 roots in the ground with a spade, shovel a ton of rocks/dirt together back in a hole, all sorts of stuff.

anyways digging for long periods of time+heat+still doing my normal workout routine schedule when i get home at around 5:30ish..its just not mixing

    What are your sleep patterns?

Is the Job fairly labour intensive?

What is you caloric intake per day/ compared to maintenance level?

welllll..my sleep pattern varies but its mainly always in the same area. usually i go to bed anywhere between 10 and 11, its really really...really hard for me to fall asleep though. i have always had this problem. back in the day i would take various sleeping pills and mostly all of them seemed to work. but i became dependent on them and had to stop taking sleeping pills all together. its been a long time but i dont wana use any sleeping pills cause i figure waking up at 4:45-5ish id be pretty drowsy from them ya know. but yea, sleep between 10 or 11, wake up at 4:45 or 5, i guess the gap between 4:45 and 5 isnt that much of a difference though..

caloric intake..man. i honestly dont count calories, i know its kinda lame but its just been hard for me to keep track. especially while at work. i lose track of what time i ate, some times even forget all the stuff i ate, and its basically impossible for me to keep track of the calories, proteins, carbs, etc. i can say this though (if it helps any) i eat quite a lot since im working on gaining weight and muscle mass. there is almost never a day where i dont eat a decent sized amount of vegetables, and i also eat a salad every night. im definitely a supplement guy also. nitrix, (3 pills 3 times per day) no xplode, (workout days only, 30-45 mins before workout) truemass, syntha-6, and soon going to include cellmass in my stack. i have no idea what my maintenance level would be thats probably another big mistake i am making eh? not even knowing my average amount of calories i should be taking in?

anyways. after some thinking ive decided i am at least going to make a list of ALL the things i eat/drink starting sunday, and ill post it in the diet section next sunday. im pretty sure im eating somewhat decent since nearly everything i eat is healthy, rich in proteins, has good carbs (i think..), good fats, etc. and ive managed to gain about 7 pounds in the past 2 weeks.

my job involves digging a shitload of holes, usually around 3-5 foot deep, between 4-8 feet wide. then i let the plumber install an irrigation system, and i shovel all the dirt back into the hole and make sure the irrigation system is where it is supposed to be. like i said the dirt is rarely, if ever..soft. and the grass isnt exactly easy to get through either. so sometimes i have to get out a picaxe and go nuts, smashing through the dirt for a while. after using a picaxe for about 5 minutes straight it really starts to suck, sometimes ive had to stand there for nearly 15 minutes swinging it wildly at the ground to get the holes how they are supposed to be. sometimes i have to use a spade to break through thick roots in the ground, which also takes a while some times, or i have to use it to straighten out the edges of the hole or get it justtt a bit deeper. doing all this in the heat is whats really killing me lately. i manage to stay pretty hydrated though, there is the occasional day where i dont get to drink too much water. and lately my boss is getting a bit frustrated because if i start to go a little gungho on the water drinking, im taking a pee-break every 20 minutes heh. although what i did isnt exactly classified as serious labor, its still pretty intense nonetheless. another thing that sucks is when we have to install these big, wide blue pipes called sleeves underground. first they have to use a tractor to dig a wide long trench. probably about 6-8 feet under the ground. then we pick up the big ass blue pipe and lay it in the trench, and then have to shovel all the dirt back inside the trench and completely cover the pipe real good. to me this is sucky as fuck because for one, its a high pile of dirt and chunks of rock, two we use a regular sized flat shovel and have to dig our shovels into the pile and push the rock/dirt into the trench. this really really starts to kill my upper body after hardly even 5 minutes since there are so many chunks of rock and a bunch of dirt. the trenches are usually real long, at least 25-30 feet so it takes a good 15 minutes or so to do this with just 2 people.

jeez..i typed a lot..hah. today has been such a horrible day for me though. almost quit my job, actually.
