B Complex ???

My multi has tons of B vitamins, are they that important ?? for example ::

B1 - 5000 %usrda
B2 - 4410 %usrda
B6 - 3750 %usrda
B12 - 1250 %usrda

bla bla bla, that is huge compared to everything else in them. Is this OK ?? It's supposed to be a pretty good multi.

That is fine. The b-complex family is water soluable so you do not store it for later use like fat soluable vitamins. It would be beneficial to break up the dosage during the day to keep a constant supply in your system as opposed to one big dose which will just get "peed" out.

TJohn, if you want good multi with a "time released B"......check into Nature's Plus Ultra One or Ultra Two (SR) or they have an Iron-free Ultra One if need be! (their method of TR (vegetable cellulose) will keep the B in you for 7-10 hours depending on metabolism)

With B's, always becareful to keep B-6 under 250 mgs a day, it can cause a reversible form of nevre damage!

Good advice from Dr P. I take a multivitamin at 4 different meals per day. This keeps my blood levels constant. Also, note, that although rare, toxicity can occur with the fat soluable vitamins A, D, E, K, when taken in too large amounts.
