Input Requested....

I would like some advice regarding supplements...

A little background first.

I am an active gym rat, as I go approx. 5 times per week. I lift 3 days per week and do some form of cardio 2 (basketball, treadmill, cycling, etc.).

I'm not what you would call an elite lifter (not even close). I'm 36 years old 175 pounds and do not lift competitively (I work hard, but by reading this forum, I would imagine that most here are more serious). I try to train all parts of my body, with my legs getting the shaft (only a portion of a workout in a week). Strengthwise, I'm average, simply put. On heavy bench days I may lift anywhere from 265-280 pounds on my final lift (1-2 reps). On light days, I mix it up (6 sets of 6 reps @ 225 pounds, or 4 sets of 25 reps @ 135 pounds, etc.).

I have not taken much in the way of supplements over the years. However, I have tried a Gaspari product (Haladrol) a few years ago, as well as Superpump (dump) 450, and am now taking NOSBlast by Precision as well as a half dosage of Methyl 1-D by LG Sciences. I also supplement with a little whey protein.

Now to the question...I'm trying to get over the hump. I eat a fairly balanced diet (not great). I don't want to take anything illegal. Any suggestions on where to start (supplementation wise or anything else)?

Be nice as I am a novice.

Thanks
