best thing for boxing is hard work and determination. build up your striking with wieghted gloves. do good tricep, and delt routines for striking power. strengthen your core for side movements, and wieghted power in your strikes. jump rope for stamina, sprints will help your spring.

Several Pro and olympic gold medalist, including andrea ward, use Endurox and accelerade. I will tell you from first hand experience that after doing insane endurance workouts including an 18 mile ruc nothing help me recover faster than endurox. You can sip on either during your workouts too. Seriously after a few days of these products you really will notice a difference.

Do you box or fight?

The creatine in cytomax, although good for cardiovascular improvement, was shown in female college runners to increase muscle mass but in doing so making it slightly harder to run due to the increase muscle mass.

I really wanted to try cytomax to see for myself, ya know?

I wonder if there is something that you can take to raise the Pain threshold. Make you feel less pain?

excedrin migraine strength, dumbs pain nicely. like i stated before get some wieght in your gloves more than a couple pounds. when i used to fight i would train 15-20mins with 10lbs in each glove. then i would do 5 mins with no wieght your striking speed and power sky rocket. just dont do it with in a few days of a fight.

HAHAHAHAA!

Well hockey def is an endurance sport. I will have to look up cytomax. I could have swore my brother just bought some and he said there was 2.5g creatine per serving. thanks for the correction. I will definetely have to try it.

Alright brother a few things. If your getting that tired in two rounds then your either grossly out of shape or your holding your breath when you punch. When i first started boxing/fighting the best piece of advice i was given, by a pro boxer, was to go 30 rounds doing nothing but getting hit. This will help you relax and also teach you "defense" when someone is swinging back. Brother nobody has a defensive game when they first start, thats the whole purpose of training. Every body thinks they hit hard when they first start, so they swing for the fences every chance they get. You need a defensive game or you will get punchy.
Enjoy yourself. There is no bigger high then stepping into a ring and feeling the intesity. I wrestled in front of 13k people and fought in front of 8k. The 8k was def. crazier and made my nerves go nuts.

yes there is, its called getting hit. Brother when you get hit in the face in a fight you don't feel it. The hit that hurts the most with the most lasting effect is the infamous liver shot. Some may argue a kidney shot is worse but you dont really feel those until after the fight and your wee wee'n blood.

The best way to build your pain threshhold for grappling is to grapple, boxing is to box, bare knuckle is to bare knuckle, ect.
