    L-Arginine scoop

Can someone kindly explain the whole story behind pure L-Argenine- as far as the recommended dosage, what its purpose is, when you should take it, any side effects heard of from taking it, and what it should or can be mixed with or should it be taken pure.

    Thanks much!

3-5g. is a good dose pre-workout if you are looking for the NO effects. If you have something like AAKG than 3g. would be fine. Side effects include increased free radicals, so it should be cycled. It can be taken by itself there is no need to mix it, but you can if you like. The purpose of L-Arginine in the supplement realm is to cause vasodilation (widen blood vessels/opposite of constriction) so you get a stronger "pump". There are also some that like to use it as they believe it has GH boosting properties. It is an amino acid...Hope that answered your questions.

Damn Amino...you are on top of your Sh**!!! Are you studying nutrition as a student or just do shit loads of research?? At 19 you wouldn't expect someone to have as much knowledge on supps/vits/ and nutrition as you. Pretty damn impressive if you ask me. Good for for you bro...I always read you posts and answers then checked and saw you were 19!!! I figured(didn't really look at your picture!!!) you were mid 30's and a nutritionist in profession. Good work man...

Thanks bro, I appreciate the kind words. Nutrition and weight lifting are my passion so I have researched a lot (since I was about 13), along with the science classes I take at my University.

argenine is good for blood flow, it keeps you aware, gives you a better pump(works really well with N.O. based products), ive heard that its good for penis growth as well(but not entirely sure on that one). Argenine is the reason your veins pop out while you flex. as for the amount, im not entirely sure about that because i take capsuled argenine, not scoops. It works best cycled 6 weeks on, 1 week off. Im not sure if this happens to anyone else, but N.O. pruducts make me angry and slightly violent, and when im on argenine with the N.O. product, it SLIGHTLY ruduces the anger and violent feelings that N.O. causes me to have. Than again, im only 16, i probably shouldnt be taking N.O. products lol

also, i dont take my argenine preworkout. i take it when i wake up, along with gensing, ginko biloba, vitamin c, and a protein shake. and just the argenine with dinner (its good to use with food or shakes because argenine is also a transporter... it will soak up all the vitamins from your food or shake and take them to your muscles)

Waste of money if you ask me, better stock up fish oils and whey.

Btw studies have shown that is oral arginine is mostly bs, unless is taken intravenously.

That's like saying protein is bs. We've all heard what the studies said, the studies are what's bs

Theres so much to talk about fish oil, from fat loss, to muscle gain, to heart health, cholesterol etc. Is a staple supplement, everyone agrees on that.
    Try searching online about it.

Also theres a lot of supplements on the market, and is easy to get confused if you are newbie, but the main ones are multivitamin, vitamin c, fish oil, whey, creatine monohydrate, and other good ones are bcaa, essential amino acids etc. No need to buy some new hyper awesome formula of whey that cost 3 times as regular whey, or some new top secret creatine or whatnot, just get monohydrate.
