My Supplemets Lack.....

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS
High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com
I am currently taking Animal Pak, Animal M-Stack, Animal Flex, Animal Cuts, Whey, Casein, Arginine, L-Carnitine, Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Ecdy, SizeOn, ZMA & multivitamins. Do you guys think I could use a T-Booster? I did a couple of cycles with 17-HD and Viraloid but I'm not on them at the moment. At my age, along with a great diet and awesome workouts, I want as much chemical assistance I can get.

I think you are wasting your money on all that.
Stick with the protein and some sort of creatine and you should be ok.
What are your goals?

Thank you for your replies. Let me tell you a little about my background, which is why I bought all these supplements. I spent many years in the Air Force and decided to start lifting while stationed in Germany. My supplementation was based solely on Myoplex Deluxe protein shakes. I didn't even know what creatine was back then. I was a little overweight and quickly trimmed down and felt great, which I attribute to the newbie syndrome. I got sent to Florida and that's when I discovered creatine. Ever since I started to lift, my physique has been great, but I got stuck and my body was no longer evolving. A few months ago I was reading a M&F magazine and they talked about adding Arginine, ZMA, different carnitines and casein protein and the positive impact in the body those supplements provide. After a little research, I decided to buy the HD-17 and Viraloid and did two cycles. Now I am much bigger and stronger. Bigger and stronger than I ever was while on protein and creatine alone. So I tell myself "This Works" and decided to try other stuff, hence the Animal products and the SizeOn. I am 37 years old and 231 lbs and my goal is I want to see those veins pop out, which I've been waiting to see after years of lifting. For whatever reason, protein and creatine alone just wasn't doing it for me. Sorry for this long reply.

You would spend less money and get better results with gear.

You are getting the results you are currently enjoying because you are training hard and eating well. That's great.

Save your money and buy the few supps on that list that work:
  • Creatine monohydrate, whatever's on sale
  • Dextrose, cheap at any winemaking supply shop
  • Acetyl-L-Carnitine is expensive, but at least that one's effective
  • ZMA you'll sleep well, and you can make your own for cheap from the component zinc, magnesium and vitamin B-6
  • Whey and casein are both good sources of protein
Toss in a few more:
  • Fish oil - I take 10g a day.
  • Selenium - good for thyroid function
  • Caffeine and ephedrine if you're looking for a cheaper and better sub for animal cuts
  • A good multi
  • Cheap generic vitamin C, a gram before and a gram after training on lifting days, a gram in the AM otherwise.
  • If you really want to go all out, B-12 IM. I shove a cc into a delt once every few weeks when I feel run down. An ampoule costs 6 bucks and contains about 10 doses. Slin pins are what, a couple bucks? OTC in Canada, dunno about where you are. If you can't get it easily, get sublingual
There. Now stop wasting your money on the other crap that doesn't do anything. If you feel you're ready, suck it up and do a cycle. Otherwise, spend the leftover cash on good steak.

Or send it to me.

Either way.

are you bulking or cutting?

animal flex is good, your proteins are good, alcar is good for health, sizeon is good. the rest can be skipped. you are also taking animal pak and multivitamins? that is a waste.

pretty much says it... a quality protien, a solid creatine supplement like RESULTS from atlarge nutrition, and a good multivitamin for active minded people and you'll be fine. Sounds like you're tossing alot of money down the drain. Buying a FEW QUALITY supplements will save you from spending ALOT of money of abunch of supplements that aren't really producing the results you're after.

At Large Nutrition - Results - High Performance Creatine Monohydrate su

good stuff right there! alot of people are taking it and LOVING the results..myself included!

Honestly I don't take it.

Results has creatine, HMB and beta alanine, along with 80g of sugar. If you don't want the added sugar, and if you don't need the expense of HMB (which is of questionable benefit to trained athletes), just stick to plain monohydrate, and add in whatever dextrose you need for your particular nutritional needs. Dex and good quality creatine monohydrate are both cheap, and very effective ergogens.

Cigarettes: nope.
Alcohol: nope.
Fast food: nope.

You clearly have excellent genetics and you train and eat well - for these you should be pleased, and proud of yourself for walking the walk.

Multi-Vit + Minerals
EFAs
Glucosamine Sulphate
Protein
Insert Extra Supplement for testing here.

Thats all you need.

Vitamins/Minerals is a given, EFAs and Glucosamine are good for the joints. Those are the only supps i consider essential.

Shit, im not even taking protein at the moment and im doing well. Lay off all the crap, instead of wasting all that money on pointless supps upgrade your gym membership or stock up on the supps that WORK.

Fix your diet FIRST.

Then your training.

THEN the supps.
