Muscle recovery supplement potential?

I am pretty sure the answer to this question is a big fat NO, but I figured I would ask just in case and see what people have to say. If you are taking a post workout muscle recovery supplement (such as Cell-Mass) could this help with muscle pulls? For example, today I was running with my crew team and we were doing an indian run. On one of my sprints to the front I felt like something in my quad pulled. Is there any chance that taking some sort of muscle recovery supplement will help it recover quicker?

Its possible, but your best bet is RICE'ing it.

and ibuprofen to lower the inflammation

haha I just had to pass my first competency exam in principles of athletic training and it was on RICE wraps. I knew it would help out to RICE it, but considering I am not going to be slowing down (I can't miss conditioning) I know I will be at a high risk of injury. Hopefully the muscle recovery and lots of stretching will keep me safe! I will RICE it during my observation hours in the Athletic training room
