    Quesion regarding suppliments

For some reason everytime i take creatine or any pill that gives strength and helps with gaining size it makes it harder for me to urinate and also burns. Has anyone gone through this or maybe know of any good suppliments for size gaining that will not have this effect?

Yikes!!! You might want to think about drinking some cranberry juice and up your water intake. Other than that, I really have no idea, thats weird. What else have you taken that is causing this. I know creatine can effect the kidneys, but if that happens with everything, you might want to get it checked by a professional.

Creatine mostly, we were thought a lot in highschool to avoid creatine as it'll burn when you urinate, hard to sleep, gassy etc... Just dont over take it and drink a shitload of water. Dont forget veggies.

I took No xplode. and another time tried taking muscle tech nanox9. both times i started to get pains when i urinate again. as soon as i stop they go away. ever since then i stopped trying to take anything. but i really want to take something to help out the growth.

Did the pain go away when you quit supplementation? What kind of tests did the doctors run, a typical urinalysis?

Sounds to me like you just need to stay away from the creatine products until you single out which creatine, if not all, do this to you. Diet is key to growth, so just stick with a well planned diet, and you will grow.

Dude, stay away from anything that makes your piss hurt! Who knows what you're doing down there.

When you take too much creatine, your body pisses out the extra stuff in a form of creatinine. This could be what's happening to you.

    My recommendations:
    0. Go check for a urinary tract infection
    1. Try lower dosage.
    2. Sell those pills to your friends and try a creatine monohydrate powder made from Creapure (ie Universal Nutrition, Optimum Nutrition, Prolab all use these) -- it's the most trusted type.
    3. Completely try a different form of creatine, such as kre-alkalyn (my favorite, only need 1g as opposed to 5g creatine, less bloat, no loading needed) or creatine magnesium chelate. There's others out there as well

And don't forget to EAT BIG. How much protein per day do you get? Is it 1.5g per pound of bodyweight? How many calories do you get? Is it more calories than you burn? How much fat? Etc...

    Good luck!

Are you taking sufficient water while on creatine?

One of the most reported side effects of creatine is that it causes dehydration. Reasonably so because, creatine will tend to pull fluids into muscles and this make the rest of the body cells short of water and hence a resulting dehydration.

What could have possibly caused the pain while urinating is because of water shortage within your body. This makes the urine more concentrated and chances of kidney stones, irritation or infection developing is correspondingly higher.

Try taking in more water and see if the problem still persist.

No way man! You know if you take creatine it will make you bigger and stronger you don't have to eat. I mean, its not like you need calories and nutrients to go into your muscle tissues. Creatine is the bomb....Magic potions, make it easy....etc.
