TAKE FISH OIL 1000 Mg? I AM CONFUSED.

What does it mean when they say take 1000 mg of fish oil? Do they mean fish oil itself or omega 3? Some fish oil has more omega 3 and some has less. I think these are different things.

You need up to 2000mg a day of DHA & EPA. Your not actually getting 1000mg of DHA & EPA in one pill as stated on the bottle. Your getting fish oil but not the good stuff. You need 7 pills a day.

    Read the bottle.

In a typical fish oil capsule there is 180:120 EPAHA

so that is 300g of epa:dha. There are some higher strength fish oil capsules. The ones I use are 400:200
