    Bodyfortress Protein?

Hey guys, I'm new so sorry if this is a stupid question

i just wanted to ask if you've heard of bodyfortress whey protein (they have this in stock at walmart for around 20 dollars)
I'm considering buying it, rather than spending 50+ dollars like I usually do, but the price seems too good to be true...would you happen to know if it is lesser quality protein or something...

Just wondering what the actual reason is as to why their prices are astonishingly low, yet their calories and protein content are great..

same goes with their creatine mono - just around 15 dollars !

Would you happen to know anything regarding this? Thanks a lot!!

Protein from Walmart? Be careful. Almost all of Walmart products are from China. Haven't you heard about poisoned milk products from China? If you always look for cheap, you might get what you are looking for. After all it is your own body, why not give it good quality protein if price isn't too expensive.

I know nothing about protein from walmart, and what was said above may or may not be true, I dont know. But the pricing of protein has, in general, very little correlation to its quality. The exact same goes for creatine mono. Just buy a cheap 100% whey protein and some plain creatine mono and your good to go.

I believe protein is pretty much protein and cheap and easy to manufacture under most circumstances. You can get good prices on WHEY online I prefer Optium Nutrition but your wal mart protein is fine man. Here is my favorite ON 100% Whey Gold Standard 5lb

I don't think that is very cheap, that's $20 for 2 lbs. You can get that on the net for ON or some other well known protein.

Melamine is a cheap chemical that is rich in nitrogen, and when it is added to milk, it makes it seems like it has a high protein content, even if it is poor in nutritional value and perhaps even adulterated with water. The substance is toxic for humans, and in China there are more than 53,000 infants with kidney problems because they consumed products containing it.

In 2008, the United States imported about 900,000 kilograms of protein derived from milk, casein, used as an ingredient in many foods.
CHINA Western brands containing Chinese milk also at risk Asia News

I think it is good idea to buy protein powders made from local milk.
Just making people aware of it.

    its 20 bucks for 2lbs

you can surely find better protein online for cheaper
    even after shipping

i just bought a 5 lb jug of dymatize elite protein isolate
    36 bucks

i also bought some other products and shipping was 5 dollars

the total for the protein and shipping was 41 if you do not consider the other products...

thats cheaper than 2 jugs of walmart protein (4 lbs).
    and significantly cheaper per pound.

i also have the added benefit of NOT supporting the Chinese trade agreement
