shake you take while training

i was at work and read about a shake u take while u lift but i cant seem to find it anywere its suppose to be the best just wondering if anyone knew the name i think it started with like intervol or somthing thanks

I think you are talking about waxy maize, but some people also take aminos with juice or sport drinks during the workout.

Some guys at our club drink protein shakes during workout. There are many different combos available, it's kind of 'to each his own' IMHO.

Personally for me, its Superpump 250 about 1/2 hour before gym, lot's of water during, protein shake and 1/2 of a cold bake potato immediately after in the locker room, and then a big pinch of Skoal long cut straight for the hot shower!

I don't believe in drinking anything other than water during a work-out, pre and post training I use whey protein isolate.

Agreed. Why would you want to take a shake mid-workout?

there is a good amount or research coming out for peri workout. scivation just did an xtend peri study. intrabolic is a solid product as well.

Doesnt really discuss how it helps.

How quickly can you body absorb the nutrients?

Ive though about taking my PWO before the end of my workout. So by the time im finished my body will have absorbed the nutrients and be able to begin repair sooner.

Would this be bennficial? Or is it just overcomplicating things?

I generally drink a lot of water during my workout but I've never tried drinking a protein shake or anything else during my workout.

more of a copenhagen long cut guy myself, but i totally agree!
