kick the bananas and yogurt they arent necessary for protien for sure. and 75 grams in the span of about 1 and 1/2 hours is a bit much IMO but im no expert. you can only use so much of that protien at once(the extra calories you cannot use is then stored as extra calories of fat) ill look around the forum to find further information

I dont really think you need the protein during your workout, first of all. Your body is going to use that energy digesting that protein, and not for lifting. If you want something like that for your workout, get some BCAAs to suck down, not protein. ALso, I believe the typical amount of protein the body will be able to digest is around 40-60grams at a time, so keep that in mind.

So according to your posts... If I were to eat one pound of chicken breast for lunch (135g of protein)... I should only count maximum of 60 grams to my daily total. I dont think that is correct.

Your body will absorb a tremendous amount of protein at one sitting. The problem is your body will only use what is required to repair the given trauma you impose. The rest will be stored or excreted.

I stick with a 40g shake 1 hour prior and 1 immediately PWO. I'm thinking about sipping BCAA's during workout thanks to the article Prince posted recently as well.

I'm fairly sure I'm consuming more than my body needs for repair but it also helps me meet my caloric goals.

but another thing is protein from food is used slower than supplement protein (like whey). But there is no way your body can use 135g just all at once.

Too much protein from whey. Not good, get some natural protein. 2 scoops before/after workout should be sufficient.

Dont forget that bodyweight also needs to be considered in this.

If you take a lifter who weights 150lbs, and a lifter who weighs 250lbs, i highly doubt their protein absorption rates will be the same, and certainly not a set-in-stone value like 40g for every person on the planet with no variation whatsoever.

I used to take waxi maize or amino acids during workout. Now I take combination of whole food protein and complex carbs and a cup of coffee about an hour to hour and half before workout and drink only water during workout. I think later one is better idea. Taking waxi maize and amino during workout is waste of money.
    Just my opinion

You need to read Prince's recent posted article on BCAA's before making that asinine statement!

you already have preworkout meal working as a feul and to support your muscle during your workout. I think it is good idea to save your amino acids for the postworkout with creatine and dextrose. Don't you think so?

You are correct. Dextrose or malto are superior to Waxy Maize, and Vitargo looks superior to those. See:

Setting The Record Straight on the Waxy Maize Craze.

Whether or not it's worth the extra $$$$ is another issue, but for cheap carbs, malto or dextrose is better then waxy maize.
