    at 17 years of age I would not be recommending much more than:

    • whey protein
    • multi-vitamin
    • EFA's

    I would agree wholeheartedly with Prince on that list. If you want, you could also add something even more basic than that...a clean, muscle-building diet. At 17, I know how hard it is to nail down the diet thing due to lack of funds, but if you can hammer it out with some trial and error, your gains will be tremendous at your age.

    I think you're fine taking that supplement, it's just a form of sugar, you'll probably notice some energy in the gym.
