help with supplement!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi all, i have recently bought a 100% pure whey isolate. I know i am kinda lactose intolerant and thats why i bought a whey isolate, because i heard whey isolate contains very little lactose in it and its safe for lactose intolerance users to use it.

But after taking my 1st scoop, 3 hours later i started having slight stomach cramps. I researched around the internet about this problems and started having a few answers.

Firstly, its probably the first time im taking in large amount of protein in one go, so it takes time for my body to get use to it.

Secondly, it probably because im severely intolerant to lactose and thats why im reacting to the isolate which contains 1% of lactose.

However, i doubt im severely lactose intolerant because i can take in 1 cup of milk without any effect.

So i believed its the first reason im experiencing.
But i have asked around my friends, they said they never need to go through the "adaption" period for whey.
So right now im a bit confused, can anyone help me?

FYI: I bought the 5lb All The Whey pure whey isolate strawberry flavoured

Hmm my bro had the exact same problem as you did. Had loose bowels after his first few scoops but he soon got over it and have been doing fine ever since.

I have had the same problem, and been using Top Form's Whey Protein it has
Lactase which helps the human body digest mike products better. I really like the taste too. I have tried some other brands but they seemed to hurt my stomach more than Top Form's, you can get it at nutrition stores and i think they have a website you can order from as well.
