Thick blood and TRT
Been on Androgel for 1 year. Last few blood tests have come back thick. Took the last one the other day and still thick. Bugs be because I gave blood 4 days before and drink plenty of water. Even cut down to one half dose for one week before the last test. T levels were only 450 but doc is blaming the Androgel for the thick blood and wants me off it for 3 months. I'm pretty bummed right now. Any suggestions/opinions?

the blood center says once every 3 months max. besides if the the next blood test in 3 months comes in ok the doc will blame androgel and keep me off it. I don't think TRT is the cause here.

My blood tests have been pretty normal, but what gets me is that my testosterone reading is over 1,500 ng/dl?
