Blood work came back annnnnnnnnnnd its what i expected.....
total test....298 ng/dL
free test.....6.2 pg/mL
prolactin.....14.3 ng/mL
estogens, total.....93 pg/mL
My hdl's came in low also at 33 mg/dL
The doc prescribed androgel......was wondering what you all thought, any advice would be great!
Androgels not like using cyp or E injections but it will get you into the upper half of the normal range. Probably about double where you are now. As far as the rest of the values a low dose of an AI wouldnt hurt.

hope you got ins. that stuff was 300+ for a months worth so I asked for cyp injetions witch is cheaper and better. Also I have a little boy and it to easy for him to make contact with the area the andro gel was applied
Everything Chucky said is right. Without ins that shit is outrageous. Arimadex or aromasin would be your best choice i think. You can read up on them and see which would work best for you. Both are available as RCs from several board sponsors

If u can find a doc to give you cyp go that route though. All in all a better way to go.

I have a stash of test e.....but was wanting to wait till i got back into lifting for awhile b4 i break into it.....Are the rc just as good as the pharmaceuticals in the ai department? Thanks guys!!!
can't compare the two, pharma grade is on a whole different level always perfect dose high quality but very expensive most of the time. RC companies you never know exact dose you are getting, haven't seen an RC company out there that hasn't had atleast one bunk batch and the quality control just isn't the same.Quote:

Update.....well the doc just scratched the andro.......annnnnnnnnd......started me on 100 mg of cyp/2 weeks for a month and going to redo bloodwork and adjust accordingly
100 mgs every two weeks? That's not nearly enough. It needs to be dosed weekly at the minimum.

^^^ my bet is the levels will be back about where you started from. 100 mgs eo week is a horrible protocol. You need a trt doc

Oh really? And you base this in what exactly? Test cyp peaks about 3-4 days after inj. Now considering that its also going to suppress endogenous production, that means he'll have about 10 days of rapidly declining test levels before doing it all again. Not a good path of treatment at all. Trt should stabalize your levels not put yhem on a rollercoaster. With this plan androgel would've been preferable.Quote:

Thanks for the reply. But i don't think so. I feel if you used any TRT med with perfect directions he won't exp any drop in testosterone level.
got my new labs and my free test was up to 8.2....so he upped my cyp to 200mg every 2 weeks.....he wants it to at least 8.7
if Cyp is giving you desired results then you should continue with it. Or otherwise change the line of treatment.Quote:
