A little confused about progesterone

I had blood work done and my testosterone came back at 820, free test at 115.7 and estradiol at 25. My doc gave me a compound script for chrysin/progesterone to increase my free test. I thought progesterone was a bad thing(?) Does this sound right?

It does have benefits like protection from excess estrogen. When you lower your total estrogen, free test will increase. E2 looks good so no need for an AI. That script should work good.

Thanks for the reply. That is what he told me, but I have seen other posts on progesterone and got a little confused.
