what is a good competition lift for a 170lb person?
Is that raw? What gear can u wear?
700+, raw.
I lifted that with an Inzer Forever Lever belt and chalk.
give it hell bro^^^ no, I smoked 717 in your federation and was only givin 3 min before my next attempt of 738 where I missed it at lockout. It's the record in the 220 submaster class, set the bench record there also.
I'll be pullin 700+ raw in the 242 at worlds in Vegas in November.
Lol.....
400 is good 450-475 great and 500+ is tits! Not 700
I dont think I could ever make that number and stay 180. Thats one stout lift. The record is above 700 for 180lbs. If you want a good number get near it, not 300lbs away.

That's a record!.... I good lift at 180 is 400+ also that has got to be tripple ply suit to pull that. Not raw or single ply.
The guy don't compete so for average guy 400 is alot
...What do u mean dl suit don't help much..... When I smoked the 717 the most I had pulled raw was 640! That's a 75+lb jump.

It looks like single to me, HAHA. But really it doesn't help the deadlift that much.
Just because the guy doesn't compete doesn't mean he should consider sub par #s satisfactory.
Damn. I must admit I've never placed much credence in a dl suit and as a result I've never used one. Sounds like I need to seriously reconsider. lol
Any tips on getting my grip strength up?
