    3D Printer

Original Article (with videos). They have 6 affordable models listed. However, the first one has the instruction to build it yourself.

The good version costs $3,500. Or...you can make it yourself.

I wonder... If you have a 3D printer, DIY or purchased, can it make another 3D printer?

The era of printing your own plastic action figures, human veins, and even food is finally upon us. After years of prototyping, the cost to build an affordable 3D printer has come down enough so that even regular guys like you and I can bring one home — with a little saving, of course.

We scoured Maker Faire NY 2011 this past weekend and were surprised to see that so many small startups were pushing their 3D printers — wowing kids and adults left and right. Here's our pick of the top six 3D printers available to take your cash that are worthy of it to boot.

That is so badass, think about all the stupid plastic parts that people break. You could have a shop with printers that could remake them for people and companies could sell a one time part to them; business idea right there boys! I can't tell you how many times I have lost of broken some stupid little plastic part and it becomes useless without that little POS part. Anyways, thanks for posting this DOMS.

And...the lower receiver can work for 600 rounds.

It's only a matter of time until you print out a full gun, with the possible exception of the barrel. But you never know...

Probably cheaper to just buy the equipment to machine it.
