Obama Signs NDAA Martial Law - YouTube
This bill goes against everything the United States was founded upon. Give me liberty or give me death.
"When injustice becomes law, rebellion becomes duty." Thomas Jefferson.
Above ALL. Do your own research, and PLEASE keep yourselves informed.
We have been giving the government of the United States too much time to do what they please. They have even mocked us by showing that they are "the 1%". Occupy and its movement is not enough to show how serious the people of the world are about this. The law is soon going to be put aside, and the leaders will take action.
House and Senate conferees were moving the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) forward to the final action in both chambers with compromise legislation that kept in controversial language that would allow for the indefinite detention of American citizens and legal residents of the United States.
Unfortunately, the House of Representatives passed the NDAA overwhelmingly Wednesday December 14th by a vote of 283 to 136. You can see how your representative and the members of your state's delegation voted after the written message under "Show More". It now heads to the Senate for final passage.
For those of you that are just now catching up on this, the House basically voted Wednesday to suspend the right to due process, the right to a trial by a jury of an accuser's peers, and the right to habeas corpus. And now that the so-called "war on terror" has been expanded to include not only al-Qaeda but also the Taliban and other "associated forces." Given the war on terrorism has become an open-ended war with civil liberties being offered by Congress on the alter of the "national security," this provision will be no doubt be abused; if not by this administration than the next.
The Constitution and Bill of Rights have meant little to Congress and the Bush and Obama administrations. Sadly, what little in the way of protected civil liberties were essentially cast aside last night. Our Founding Fathers are no doubt spinning in their graves.
AMERICAN ARMY, MILITIA, WAYSEERS, RETIRED TROOPS, MARINES, NAVY, AIR FORCE, RESISTANCE, AND EVERY AMERICAN WHOS LIFE ARE AT STAKE. We must act now. We cannot rely on peaceful anti-political decisions anymore, we must take force. We must do what Egypt has done recently, but on a much larger scale.
Anonymous wants the world to know that the people should not be taken so slightly anymore.
Too many innocent people have been effected by ruthless government power already, and with the NDAA being passed without a doubt, it will only add more. We must stop this...they are small, we are greater. The money can no longer control the way the world works in governmental powers.
Act as soon as possible America, and the World.
