So at the gym today, was pumped up and mad at some personal bullshit that happened earlier....

so i stretch, and start doing my dumbell shoulder press's warmup set, warmup set, working set.....than a heavier working set,

im at the last rep and boom my left shoulder gives out and my arm falls backwards and on the way down i hear ripping/grinding noises inside my shoulder pretty sure my arm went out of its socket than went back in on the way down....

i have no clue what this means, im worried i ripped something/tore something. I would go to the doctor to check it, but guess what I have no health insurance at all.

2nd week into my cycle what a fucking nightmare, im praying to God this was just a fluke and my shoulder will be fine in a couple of days.

Swelling up? If you did dislocate then yes, tendons and ligaments will be stretched out and always prone to future dislocations bro.

What happened? Did you lose focus for a split second and not stay tight? Sorry to hear about it though, especially so early in...

idk what happened it was so fast, but from the start i felt weaker today, and was still trying to go harder, im so mad at myself, no swelling as of yet this literally was half a hour ago, but the pain is growing, fuck. I dont wanna stop working out, i dont. not so early in my cycle.

Shucks man, I think you should start throwing some ice on it if you haven't been already. 15 minutes on 20-30 off and repeat bro. Strongly suggest you bite the bullet and get it checked out too...

This! ICE ICE BABY! Possibly some ibuprofen for any inflammation.

Ice, try to immobilize it for a bit if you can, anti-inflammatories and and see a doc if you can any way. Know you have no medical insurance, but if it swells and turns black and blue you just may have too.

x2

Even if you did not tear anything if it did in fact dislocate (which it sounds like it did) then you are in fact more susceptible to more dislocations in the future. You could go to a musculoskeletal specialist like a chiropractor and they can perform orthopedic testing and/or take x-rays (perhaps and MRI) to determine the status of your shoulder. The worst thing you could do would be to ignore it. You dont want to do something you may regret and make it 10x worse on yourself.

Hey, bright side, you can still pound the hell out of your legs on your cycle. And IF its determined that you do not have any structural damage to your shoulder you can use the opportunity of being on to increase your shoulder girdle stabalizers as to protect against future dislocations ie- your rotator cuff muscles.

not a plus side, i purposely did not include leg workouts on this cycle theyre to big as it is, i have the legs of a 300 pound body builder and a upperbody that does not match at all

Thats a pretty massive calf

just contacted family, theyre willing to pay for MRI...in the next few days, they wanna come with me in the doctors room (im the baby of the family).....you think MRI can detect nice CC's of testosterone deposits in my glutes and quads?

no it wont. The view will stay around your shoulder, even if it did not, thats not something that they would have an eye for.

thanks njc, pain is getting worse...........im so afraid i wont be able to work out anymore, might have to stop cycle early.

I've got a bad shoulder that dislocates about once a year. Here lately though, it's been about once every other year which is nice, but I am due. Ice it and keep it immobilized. I had an MRI done a while back and the doctor wanted to operate and pin my shoulder with no guarantees....no thanks. Doc said it will continue to happen and gradually get worse, but haven't had any problems lately. I currently have no pain, but I make sure not to compromise my shoulder by stressing it in akward positions. Good Luck!

When can i get back to the gym?

Only the doctor can tell you. From there, you may be in for some PT/OT. Don't mess around with your shoulder man. I've seen a couple of older guys who have "frozen shoulders" from years of manual labor and lifting heavy equipment with little disregard to form.

Don't rush it....it's all dependent on the amount of damage, if any. But even if there is no damage, you won't be able to put much pressure on it for a while. Let it heal as much as possible or you could potentially make things worse. Trust me, a bad shoulder is no joke. Give it time to heal and look for alternate exercises in the mean time. Keep us posted.

I have dislocated both shoulders. You in fact DID dislocate it. That is exactly what it`s like. If you feel a gravelly/sand like friction then you also chipped/shaved some bone fragments. If that is the case you need to have it looked at immediately. In any case, your shoulder will never be the same. Sorry for the bad news but it`s better knowing than not. Good luck bro.

You`ll be able to work out again but you need to rest it now. I had to immobilize mine for 3 weeks(ace bandage/sling). Dr said he wants to put pins in both shoulders(like another poster here) with no guarantees. In that case my arm would be taped to my chest for a minimum of 9 weeks, then the other arm. It`s not fun bro. Do what you need to do now. get an MRI and see exactly what`s going on in there. If there are bone fragments you are doing more damage every time you move it, roll over on it, etc.

They will be doing an MRI of your shoulder, not legs or glutes...MRI are very site specific, it would take all day to MRI your entire body... They can see fluid collection where they are looking with the MRI....As long as you haven't inj your shoulders in last month or two, they shouldn't see anything there....

More than likely, they will do a full arthrogram on your shoulder... Shoulder injuries can be extremely complex to diagnose and without a full arthrogram they probably won't find the problem.... With the injury you described I would venture to guess(and this is not a medical diagnosis) that you did something to your supraspinatis muscle/tendon, but could also be an ac joint separation or both.... Neither would necessarily cause visible bruising, but can cause quite a bit of pain...

Bro i did this on military press. Got MRI, Tore labrum

pain was extruciating this morning. feels like i did serious damage, waiting to see doctor this morning, my bills are gonna be crazy, oh did i mention on the previous set i might have injured my right shoulder not as bad? heard a lil grinding as well

I am personally comiing off of shoulder surgery. I could not workout for about two months and lost A TON of strength and muscle mass while I was in a sling. I suspect that my injury was worse than yours but you will still lose muscle. I would strongly consider staying on cycle as to prevent muscle wasting and strenght loss while your shoulder is immobilized. You are already shutdown as it is....I would just ride the cycle out if I were you.

Try to find a hospital that offers "charity care." I dont have insurance either but charity care covers the uninsured. I had my surgery and everything else paid for through the program. Saved my 15,000 dollars at least. You need to ask them about it though. Unfortunately they dont tell you about it usually.

i cant move my left arm. the slightest movement and i hear noises and it feels like its about to fall off.....my right arm has a similar thing happening but not as bad.....

i dont know if using AAS is good, because its definately joint problems...tendon and ligaments and test and low estrogen levels are bad for joints....unless i run deca or EQ as it is good for collegyn synthesis

Hmm in Canada we just go to the dr. Free health care is stupid tho.

well if you cant pay medical you dont want to make it worse. sorry but stop working out. keeplowdoses cycle for few weeks though. going through pct now would just slower the healing.

I dont think its stupid, Im sure as hell happy to live in Canada and EU.
I would rec going to the doc, but I am taking into mind that he just said he cant.
or Doc same day would be my reccomendation.

some CJC-1295 and/or IGF1LR3 may help with healing.

Yeah. CJC is totally worthless without a GHRP though. GHRP and MGF could definitely accelerate healing. Especially if microdosed around the injured area. GHRP's are anti-catabolic as well and will prevent much of the aforementioned atrophy associated with disuse as you heal.
