    First cycle, new member, long-time lurker






    I've been putting quite a bit of research into this and this is what I've come up for a first cycle:

    Gear-
    Week 1-10 500mg Test E 2x week.
    Week 1-10 250mg Deca 2x week.
    Week 1-4 40mg Dbol 40mg/day
    Week 4-10 Proviron 50mg/day


    PCT-
    Week 1-12 .5mg Adex (if gyno manifests only?)


    I'm not sure if I'm prone to gyno so I feel like I should keep adex on the entire period. The proviron I added for the extra libido and to combat some of the effects of deca although I feel I shouldn't have a problem with it seeing as it's exactly 3mg per kg for the deca


    To be on the safe side should I add anything else to the pct or lengthen it? I'm about 180 lbs @ 5'10" if it matters

    Opinions?

    It sounds like a good cycle, but perhaps better for your second cycle. A test only cycle will give you a better idea as to how your body deals with estro and how you respond to the test. Youve got 4 compounds in there and its going to be hard to learn what each does.
    What are you trying to do ? Harden up, add 15 lbs ?

    Well if you run it Id stretch it to 12 or 14 weeks, then start your pct 2 weeks after your last deca shot.
    Id also add some HCG in to the mix starting about week 6 and running right through pct.

    I was looking at keeping a clean bulking diet to add some mass without too much excess weight. I understand that might net me less overall mass gain but I am okay with that. I'm pretty comfortable with what everything does and how test and deca synergize. Read up as much as I could on proviron and adex as well, on top of what to do and when in case shit hits the fan. I have no allergies and regularly do cardio to keep my inside as healthy as the outside. So overall, I feel comfortable with where I am.

    I'm assuming 250iu (split up twice a week) for the HCG @ 180lbs? I was keeping the time frame short just to be on the safe side for a first cycle.

    I do have only one issue...I take prilosec fairly regularly because of heartburn. Are there any contraindications/experiences with that and Adex/Proviron/Dbol/Test-e? I wouldn't think with dbol and test but maybe the PCTs?

    I agree, a bit extra for your first cycle. Ditch the deca and proviron at least. Test alone is great for a first cycle, but no objections to the dbol either. My first cycle was 50mg oral dbol ED and 400mg test/week, i gained 30 lbs and kept 25lbs. Good luck bro

    Hmm, alright...that actually does sound like a better alternative. The deca might have been a bit much.

    As a side note. I should be able to maintain a fairly lean mass with the right food intake (over maintenance, but not too much) if I am not too concerned with maximizing my gains for the period (say 8lbs lbm instead of 13lbm), correct?

    10 weeks of deca is a waste imho. At 10 weeks things will just be starting to get good. Listen to what has already been stated....test and dbol for a first cycle will be plenty

    1st cycle: 500mg test EW for 12 wks

    2nd cycle: 500mg test EW for 12 wks
    200mg deca EW

    3rd cycle: same as second but at DBol
    30-50mg Ed 1st 4 wks

    I guess after that cycles should depend on what exact stuff you are looking to get besides just putting on mass? I.e, cutting, vascularity, density, etc.

    your first cycle is like the magical cycle that you'll gain the most and best on. Do everything(eat right and LOTS) to gain as much as possible. Don't eat just over maintenance because your afraid of getting "too big".... you can't and won't

    ^ This right here! We have discussed this in another thread already and came to the conclusion that yes, test must be a base but, as justhav2p states...your first cycle is your magic cycle. Now I'm not telling the OP to pop drol, dbol, tren, 2000mg per week of test, HGH, insulin, and so forth but this misconception about you should go easy on your first cycle doesn't seem right to me. What I'm saying is your "corrected" cycle looks good plus you are at a 2:1 test deca ratio so hopefully progestrone /gyno issues and deca dick won't be a problem.

    I'm just going with the basic test e and dbol kickstart cycle for now. I'm not too worried about the maximum mass to be honest. Just looking to see the reaction I'll have and what I can retain. Good point on eating more than maintenance. I don't have a problem putting on mass so I'll still have to be careful but definitely throwing more than 180g of protein my way once I start.

    Just remember your AI's and PCT also. Definitely go with a gram and a half to two grams of protein per pound too. Good luck with cycle.
