Yes you have to ask since she knows nothing about trt.
I know you must specifically ask for a testosterone test when talking to Dr. About blood tests and I basically asked about it and got (a very suspicious response) "oh, why would you need that"?..... I said "well, I see the commercials for that cream stuff and I am older now, and just not feeling the same, libido low, tired etc....."....ultimetly she was cool about it and put it on the script for the lab office.....now, my blood work shows the "test,LH,FH,etc...." however, I can't find "estradiol" anywhere......Do you have to also ask to include testing for estradiol in your bloodtest?.....or is it automatically done considering your doing a testosterone test?.....thanks
Yes, I had to "educate" my family doctor. She still doesn't understand, but ordered the test for me anyway.
Got it.....thanks..........shit, just saw the word "prolactin", ask for that to be included for bloodtest as well?.......
