    3 day split or a 7 day split. After reading bellow, what are the pros and cons???






    I have been doing a 3 day split and the seventh day rest...

    I've made great progress (see earlier thread for routine and diet @

    I'm considering a six day split and the 7th day rest - basically something like this:

    Every morning 60 on empty stomach in fat burn zone...max HR of 135...mean 125...


    Monday -
    Chest


    Tuesday -
    Back


    Wednesday -
    Shoulders


    Thursday -
    Biceps & Triceps


    Friday
    Treadmill 60 minutes 80-90% MHR


    Saturday
    Legs


    Sunday
    Rest Day






    All natural - duuaaa...we all are right...!!!

    Suppliments:

    Cyto Sport protein (2 a day) with 1/2 banana and 32g peanut butter
    Cardio Cutts 3 x a day 1 1/2 scoop
    Cellucore - P6. 3 with am workout and 3 with pm workout
    Omega 3,6,9 flax seed




    Pre-workout - Cardio cuts
    Post workout - Amplify XL 3 scoops



    Diet as stated in prior thread listed above.

    you can do that change is good but i would not do triceps the day after shoulders it is ok but you are doing too much triceps because you are doing them with chest and with shoulders.
    here is another suggestion
    mondaychest
    tuesday back + rear deltoids and traps
    wednesday: run
    thursday:l lateral and front shoulders only and triceps
    friday biceps
    saturday legs
    sunday rest

    You'll see some improvement changing up but it will short lived and plateau on either split if you don't incorporate some periodization.
