    230 lbs
    Mid forties
    About 6'1"





    I have been dieting and hammering away for the last 3-4 months. I rejoined a gym in December 2013 and completely changed my look but now I want to take things to the next level. Accountability and discussion is always good for me when trying to reach my goals so I decided to start a log.

    Goal-
    to get shredded.

    Since I just came off a cut I went up on my macro's and reduced my cardio to give myself a bit of a break from the monotony of dieting and training. I will resume the cut around the 1st of April after I get labs and see what the damage is from this latest blast. My labs last week had various elevations that look a bit troubling so I'm repeating labs without training as muscle breakdown from weight training skews liver and kidney markers. I had trained legs the night before the labs and that likely contributed to out of whack markers.

    Split
    is a 4 day setup

    Sunday-OFF
    Monday-Legs
    Tuesday-OFF
    Wednesday- Arms
    Thursday-OFF
    Friday-Back
    Saturday-Chest and shoulders

    Cardio
    3 times per week for 30 minutes. I'll add more cardio soon.

    Diet
    is a carb cycle. Training days are higher, non training is lower, Saturday is a load, cheat is Wednesday night. My "meals" are a bit unusual at times as you will see.

    Drugs

    Testosterone, fill the pin a few times per week and pin. sometimes more, sometimes less. I probably average around a gram or so per week but some weeks might be 300 mg and others 2 grams. Adex or Nolva almost daily. Not much else at the moment except the occasional Xanax at night or maybe some Cialis. I'm not real consistent with my meds. I fine tune this the last few weeks of a cut but since you can cut on almost any steroid I just keep it simple until it needs to be complicated.This last week was 300 mg Test E. I stopped drinking a few days ago and quit the benzo's. I feel mortal at these T levels.

    I went low carb today after yesterdays carb load. The load yesterday actually started Friday night. I consumed a whopping 1,400 carbs from Friday night to Saturday night. I was pretty full at the end of the night.

    Today's Dinner below

    Lean beef and cabbage with hummus and diet green tea.

    That's a very interesting article. I'm curious to see more testing done and when a supp company will capitalize on it. Gives me another excuse to indulge myself in some dark chocolate.

    Cocoa has so many health benefits its amazing. When I saw that article I was surprised it may reduce Myostatin though. Anyway, I use Cocoa almost nightly in one form or another.

    CONCLUSIONS

    There is now a large body of information that supports the idea that cocoa flavanols and procyanidins have the ability to act as in vivo antioxidants. Another area in which we have a dearth of information concerns the acute and chronic effects of dietary flavonoids. Although several short-term clinical trials have been reported, the health effects of these nutrients will best be determined from long-term, randomized, clinical trials.

    Another low carb day. This makes 3 days in a row of very low carbs. No training as I have to get labs Thursday morning and muscle breakdown will skew the liver and kidney results. Basically the diet is driving everything at the moment. Test levels are plummeting so I hit some HCG today. Can't wait to get my blood draw so I can crush the weights.

    Cheat meal last night was a lettuce wedge with blue cheese dressing, potato skins loaded, beer, Cheeseburger and fries, 6 dinner rolls with honey butter, more beer, brownie and ice cream at Lonestar.

    Blood draw this AM. Will resume plan now. I should have the results in a few days.

    300 mg Enanthate, 50 mg Prop and 50 mg Acetate (last pin was 9 days ago so I was pretty crashed)

    Legs~PM

    4 sets of leg extensions x 15 reps
    4 sets of leg presses x 20 reps
    4 sets of seated calf raises x 20 reps
    4 sets of leg curls x 15 reps
    3 sets of heavy leg extensions x 10 reps~whole stack

    Felt a bit off tonight and a little weaker than normal

    Post training Gatorade, Creatine, Glutamine and BCAA's (21 carbs)
    Two Pop-tarts (76 carbs)

    My new blood pressure machine came today so I will start tracking BP every morning.
