Lab tests - what to ask and look for?

I'm considering my first cycle and doing a lot of reading up on an overwhelming amount of information

I've read through heavyiron's 'First cycle and PCT' sticky among several others.

Before I decide and buy stuff I think I should get a blood test done to determine if it is ok for me to consider doing this. But what should I ask to be tested? and what am I looking for in the results?

Thus far from what I'd read the recommendation seems to be:
Hormones (steroids); Lipids (standard full Set); Full Liver Panel; Complete Blood Count & Comprehensive Metabolic Panel ; Renal ; Electrolytes, Mineral and Glucose; Prostate

Did I miss anything or should I drop any of the above??

Thyroid levels would be good to have too.
