    Best Training routine full body over 60 ,,, can anyone recommend good routine for a old boy not a beginner

    Hi, I am also an over 60 although I've been lifting on and off for many years. The best way to start is to do a full body workout two to three times per week. The workout should mainly consist of compound exercises such as Squats (there are many different types - barbell back, front, hack, zercher; also with dumbbells); Romanian or Straight leg Deadlift; conventional Deadlift; Bench Press; Rowing; Overhead Press. You could also opt for a 3 day split Push, Pull, Leg routine. Remember to start light and progressively increase either weights and/or reps. You can also check out (online) Muscle and Strength's web page they have hundreds of different workouts meeting all sorts of needs - male, female, beginner, advanced, youth, oldies, etc. Hope this is helpful.

    I've been trying my best to not be under pressure for not working out like that. My trainer suggest to take it slow since it might ending up with having major impact on the diet in take and even on the daily life style.
