    One type of protein, one type of carbohydrate

    I am changing my diet to be more simple but I don´t know if it is gonna change for the better or not.

    In my diet I will put only one source of protein ( chicken ), and one for carbohydrates ( Pasta ), and the EFAs of course.

    What do you think ?

    Simple can be good how about something like.

    Lean protein (pick several animals, make beef one of them)
    Carbs(Oatmeal, yams, brown rice, all better than pasta if you are going for slow digestion)
    Fruits, Veggies (just eat them)
    Fats (Olive oil, fish oil, nuts, nut butter)

    That is simple enough no?

    On a more serious note, I have tried a much simpler diet on a day to day basis. It can save a lot of money. Have several days you rotate maybe where you get substantial variety in there and it can work.

    Yeah, I guess I was too radical about just one type of each thing.
