IML Gear Cream!

Some years ago I was instructed by "professionals" of the bodybuilding world. But they had so many "mis-information" that entirely stopped all my progress. I am not mad because I found soon enough that something was not right. But I have heard so many bad information that I decided to list a few :

-You need to sweat a lot, that´s how you burn fat.

-If you do 20 reps per set, you will get muscle definition, there is no other way.

-Train everyday as much as you can. Overtraining ? That doesn´t exist.

Like I said that´s what I can remember now.
Do you remember more ? :)

if you want to see muscle CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You won't hurt yourself
by lifting sloppy, just get the weight up

Supplementing with protein will stunt your growth. I heard that said by some younger highschool kids who were lifting in my gym. Prolly not a gym lie for this context, it is just that they didn't know and they prolly just heard it as a rumor.

hey D...I just noticed....

Our quotes are VERY similar........ How unique!

Guy I work with is convinced that Creatine is a drug similar to "roids". I'm not kidding. He was shocked and appalled when I told him I "use" it.

"you can lift legs everyday and they will recover, the Bulgariun's do it". Unnamed gym "guru"

There was a claim that they trained as often as ever 3 hours.

My younger brother refused to use it even though I told him it was in meat, obviously I didn't push him I just told him that it was kind of ridiculous. Of course he would drink alcohol though

Can't believe I didnt think of that one! One of my biggest pet peeves. I feel another one of those heated debates coming on...

I'm already thinkin of some great debatable points on this "incline" subject ?

Please dont. Its been debated to death.

lol

I remembered one more.
Some people told me that thinking too much about working out woud make a person to become gay.
Can you believe that ? lol

my chest looks better when i do incline.. hehe

I didn't achieve my physique by using steroids. In fact, I never used steroids in my life ("Lyin bastards!") :hehe:

No comment.. :eyebrow:

This may not be a "gym lie", but a misconception along the same lines. I love when out of shape guys say, "I dont want to build muscles, I just want to cut up what I got".

I don't want to lift too much and get big like those guys in the magazines.

A similar one is women saying they dont want to lift because they'll get "bulky".

i think all serious lifters whether for BB or Power or people somewhere in the middle this is a peeve. I can only take so much of that before I lose it

Trainer to Lee Priest - "Damn boy, you uh - you uh been working out?"

"2 weeks. I dont want to get too big..."

That happens to all of us, oh the curses.
