    Results afterward

Donescobar2000, I myself lost quite a bit of wieght. 380 to 235 in one year. I am still young (20) but I know there isn't enough elastin in me to shrink up what I have hanging and wrinkling in my midsection. I have thought about getting a tummy tuck but how good are the results afterwards? If you work on your abs can your shred them enough so they are noticeable? Also, have you used any creams to help reduce the scarring and did it help?

My drain was in my knee, it was painless to remove (did feel weird though). My mom's friend had her stomach done and she said it was painless to remove the drain.

So did the Dr give you any restrictions with lifting heavy once you are healed? Has your core been strong for lifting? Basically are you able to go all out lifting heavy once you are healed?

It sure is....but I haven't run into too many males that are into lifting like I am with a tummy tuck. I had a tummy tuck back in 1997 after dropping 100 lbs. I have noticed some issues lately with my core not staying strong. I don't seem to have the 'explosion' I used to. I am curious if the fellow was able to keep jacking steel like he did before the surgery. If there's another thread like this point me to it or I'll start another....but hopefully this fellow is still around in some capacity.

I'm glad folks are being so welcoming and helpful. Hopefully my issue is minor, I plan on chatting with a plastic surgeon in the next week to make sure something else isn't wrong. I found this thread via google.

Like is said if there's another thread I can read through or post on this topic let me know.

Quite funny, Thanks don for sharing this painful experience... It's a good warning to people who have the same concerns as yours...

Bump. I'm still around. Just can't remember my old log in info. I'm still kicking it at the gym and living my healthy lifestyle.
