got calves ???
I thought I would share this tip I had received about calf training a few months ago. When I first heard of this routine I thought it was whack and that there wasn't n e way it could work. dr here was wrong. it really revolves around only 1 working set but personally i do 2 b/c i've noticed a lil bit better gains this way. here goes SOME BIG CALVES ...
exercises :
standing calf raises
seated calf raises
raises in leg press
( i rotate exercises every month )
after warm up
after each rep you lower with a 5 second negative
after the 5 sec you hold the stretch in the bottom postition for another 15 sec and that is one complete rep. this hurts but believe me if they made my stubborn calves grow, n e body's calves will grow.
goal is 12 completed reps and if 13 is possible - up the w8.
got calves ? a few months of this stuff and u will.
