HIIT cardio.

Ok I'm confused. I thought for carido you should be at 65% of your maximum heart rate? That's fat burning cardio right? So which should I be doing?

HIIT cardio, eating 5-7 meals a day and several cups of gree tea a day...

do a search on HIIT. :)

in a nutshell it's the most effective form of cardio.

LAM and anyone else:

Will green tea boost metabolism?

Studies say it may, modestly. http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2003-01-29-tea-usat_x.htm

We ain't talking no fen-phen here, but I suppose every little bit helps. Plus, there are also other documented effects on general health and possible cancer-defense benefits.

It is also very tasty, so why not drink a cup or two a day?

he posted this in the training forum. :)

Caffeine's not part of training??? How can that be? I can't even look at any weights until my veins are bursting with caffeinated goodness. :D

Well, because of reading this post, took out an old box of green tea that had been collecting dust and had a cup of strong, hot green tea. Mainly because yes, it is overall healthy.

A new member here...I have a quick question about HIIT. What I have been doing is hitting the treadmill for about 30 minutes and increasing the speed every 5 minutes or so. Should I be doing a combination of increasing *and* decreasing?
