I've been practicing my quarter turn poses, and I'm really having a hard time with the back one. I can't make my back look like this, my shoulder blades always stick out. I can do it if I pull my arms down, like I'm doing a lat pulldown, but once I put my arms down by my sides it goes away. Anyone have any tips?

What are you doing for your routine? Which show are you preparing for?

I'm competing in figure, so there is no routine. I'm doing a small local show in Mobile AL, Steel World.

Oh, ok. Good luck! Maybe watch a posing video (they have some on the internet), or you could by one. I found one very helpful

Try pulling just the delts forward some, then roll them slightly back. Feels odd but once you get it, the blades don't pinch together.

Ok, I'll try that. Thanks Jodie.
