I heard a friend of mine say he took glucose tabs befor he worked out for extra energy. Is that safe or even effective? The only thing I can think of glucose doing is boosting insulin right after a workout?
of course it's safe It's kind of like drinking a pop and then trying to go to sleep, never tried it though I've heard it only energizes you for a short time and then you are more tired once it passes.
