There are no specific exercises that will get rid of them--you cannot spot reduce. Dieting, lifting, and cardio will help lower your bodyfat %, which is what getting rid of them is all about.

Diet and exercise is the only way to go. Diet is going to be of utmost importance though. Check out this little writeup on designing a diet conducive to weight loss:

In terms of exercise, I would get started with a basic resistance training program 2-3 days per week. If you want to supplement that with some light to moderate cardiovascular exercise 2-3 days per week, then that would definitely accelerate the process. Here is some info to help you get started designing a weight training routine if you choose to do so:

Actually most people find dieting to be the hardest part, which I find somewhat ironic since in the gym you may lift several hundred pounds, but nonetheless I agree. Eating six times a day counting cabrs, protein, fats, and calories is no easy task when you're trying to eat cleanly.

Eating is definitely the hardest part. The battle of the iron only lasts an hour. The battle of the stomach lasts all day. I think bulking is actually harder than cutting. Stuffing well in excess of 4000 calories down my throat every day is a real task.

Well I disagree. I'm find cutting not difficult at all. I just did it for 11 months and dropping my bodyfat 21%. I find bulking cleanly like I'm doing now and putting on the size a hell of a lot harder.

yeah the diet part i found easy, 59lbs in 7 months so not rapid but what i was happy with, just getting into the bodybuilding so a real newbie so not real views on that yet.........

the prob with dieting that most people have is they expect to lose rapidly....it prob took years to put the weight on so will take time to lose
