    Green Tea in Pill form?

I currently drink arizona diet green tea every day for it's anti oxidants.

I was thinking of switching to the pill form because it's more economical, will I lose any of the benefits of drinking it?

I also take EFAs and a Multi and use Allthewhey Whey protein.

Any other suggestions would be good too, thanks!

Other than the good taste, no, you won't lose any benefits of green tea by taking it in capsule form. The main compound responsible for its effects is EGCG, and the percent of an extract that is EGCG is usually how extracts are rated. I cap my own because I think it's kind of fun and stress-relieving, but there are pre-capped versions available. Look for a high %EGCG rating, like 50 or 60.

Interesting. I didn't know the deal with EGCG. Here's what the green tea pills I'm currently popping say (not that pills talk to me or anything):

    Each Caplet Contains:

    Green Tea Complex 1000mg
    Polyphenols 190mg
    EGCG 67mg
    Caffeine 35mg

Is that a crap EGCG rating, Coprolith?

It's better than nothing, but there are stronger extracts available.

Lean Green by Scivation is pretty good.

As well as Bulknutrition's Green Tea Extract powder, however you would have to cap this
