You ate NOTHING BUT fruit for your breakfast? And you ate nothing between that, and lifting 5 hours later? If that's correct, then that's a bad thing.

Where's your protein and fat source?
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

That, and not to mention pretty much all his carbs are high in sugar. Fruit's not bad, but needs moderation.

errrmmm.... Some fruit at breakfast is good... But in my opinion it needs to be balanced with protein, fats and some starchy carbs... It at least needs to be combined with some protein and fiber!

Fruit is great - and 2-3 peices a day is excellent. But try to spread this through the day and make sure you are eating it with other things such as those proteins and fats.

On top of what has been said already, I would also try to get another meal in you a little sooner than 5 hours before you lift. I try to get a meal in me 30-60 minutes before hitting the gym; 5 hours is way too long.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
