This is a DELICIOUS recipe for hommade pita chips. They are so easy and so good. People who are not fitness conscious love them too which is why they make a nice appetizer that you can actually enjoy eating with them!
Take pitas (I love it with wheat) and cut into 8 pieces like a pizza.
Lightly drizzle with olive oil and rub to cover most of the surface.
Sprinkle basil, a little bit of garlic salt, and grated parmesan/romano cheese. Press seasonings into pita just so they stick a little.
Broil or toast until firm. Flip over and repeat. Cook until crispy.
Serve with marinara sauce.
