    Question About Different Food Sources

This question may sound a little silly but what do you guys think about eating several different things in one meal? Like if you eat rice, potatoes, greens, fruits, several types of meat, bread, ect, all in one sitting; does your body have tough time processing a meal like that?

Yeah, you get cancer and die because of all the dangerous radiation.

No, you must get a diverse amount of food in your system. A variety of different proteins will give you adequate amounts of each amino acid, essentially the same with fatty acids. Its very important to eat greens with your meals as well, such as spinach, they have vitamins and minerals that may be difficult to get elsewhere, and also a host of phytonutrients and antioxidants. Plus fiber.

However, that doesnt mean gorge yourself, you have to keep your total amount of calories down to a certain amount, either over, under, or at your caloric needs, depending on your goals.

Its also important to keep your macronutrient ratio in line.

It's all one big dance. Important to keep your calories at the right level, AND keep your macros right. After that, you try to keep your diet from making you go insane, and the best way is by diversity.

a calorie isnt a macronutrient. protein fat and carbohydrates are, they are the 3 sources of calories.

And yeah it does make a difference, every type of protein has a different amino acid profile, and its important to get a diverse amino acid profile input into your body, so it can keep all its processes working in tip top shape. The same goes with fats, there are different kinds of fats, and one must get either more or less of one to make themselves healthier.

No denying but protein is protein wether you get it from 4 foods at small portions or one from a larger portion

Also with macro's i always include calories along with macro's stop being picky lol
