    Chip problem

So I think I'm addicted to tortilla chips. I eat them all the time even though I know they're bad for me. I'm pretty sure that I can cut down on them, if not cut them out, if I can find something healthier but still able to satisfy the craving. I tried going a month without them but as soon as the month was up, I bought a new bag. Any suggestions?

Bro, when cutting junk food out, NEVER go cold turkey. You're just asking to go into relapse and binge yourself on them at some point in time.

Gradually replace the chips with something like celery and cottage cheese. Half the portions up - with what used to be your 'usual' portion of chips, split that portion in 1 part chips, the other celery and cottage cheese.

As you palate adjusts, you'll eventually have no 'cravings' for them any longer.

Oh and BTW, changing diet is 100% MENTAL...if you keep telling yourself "I gotta have this kind of food, or I gotta have that" then that's exactly what your subconscious mind will have you do. You have absolutely NO NEED for those high-glycemic, blood sugar spiking chips. THey'll kill your fat loss efforts. Just build your mind up to get rid of them and slowly phase them out of your diet.

Just yesterday I enjoyed 2 personal pan pizzas for lunch after not TOUCHING the stuff since Feb of this year. It was great and I enjoyed it. I phased out pretty much ALL garbage out of my diet back in Feb..I've lost almost 15% body fat since that time and now i"m a lean, muscular hot 5'9 161. (From a disgustingly fat 200lbs of Dec 2005 with fat breasts and a big belly)

good job my man.. keep it up

as for the chips, what would you rather have? tortilla chips which you will only enjoy as you eat them or a rock hard body you can enjoy 24/7?

I eat chips at least once a week. They are the "light" kinds and hve no fat or very very little fat in it. I know it still is bad cuz its processed and etc, but ever since i was a little kid, chips were my favorite thing to eat ALL the time. So I guess old habits die hard. I can't say it is doign too much on my physique though.

They have those multigrain chips, they arent that much better for you but its all about damage control, I have found out. I use to bust my balls when I was on a diet for eating crap and then it would snowball.
