    Question regarding running.

    I'm new here, but have been wondering about something for awhile. I've been lifting weights for about a year. In the beginning I ran for 30 minutes as well. However, as of late, I was wondering how much I should be running? I check my heart rate at the end and it's usually around 189 (takes about 20 seconds to get it) I usually run for 30 minutes on a treadmill with a hill interval setting at 7.5 MPH. I want to add some size (not too much) and get cut. I also do Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu during the week (probably around 6 days/week). Right now I'm 5' 8", 150 lbs. Thanks.

    I think doing cardio a few days a week is just fine for gaining LBM, so long as you consume enough calories to make up for the extra activity.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
