Anyone ever heard this before? Do you think this is true? Anyone have any first-hand experience with this concept?

"Something of significance for the serious woman lifter is that women have a greater relative strength to their 1RM (one rep maximum). In other words, they can work at higher reps closer to their 1RM than men can. Where a man might be able to do, say, 4 reps at 80% of his 1RM, a woman might be able to do 6 at her 80%. What does this mean for you? It means that charts and formulae which enable to calculate your 1RM are usually written only for men, and will likely not be completely accurate for you. A better way to find out conclusively what your 1RM is is just to damn well do it. Get some spotters, load the weight on and heave that baby."
Bodybuilding isn't everything, it's just that being small, weak, and puny REALLY sucks!!

Yes, I've heard about that to and believe it. It’s a fact that women have a better tolerance to pain than men do.
    Cool

Well my ex-wife would disagree with
    that....Oh, wait she disagree's with
    everything.
    Seriously though I've never known
a female that would be true for.
But then again I've never thought
    about it, could be fact.
