What kind do you own? Brand, style, color? I will spend $1200 at the most. My parents hated their side-by-side because of space. They now have one with the freezer on bottom. More space but I don't think it looks as nice as a side-by-side.

I found some nice ones at Home Depot and they offer 10% discount when you get one of their cards.

Freezer on the bottom is the best IMO
you are more frequent to use the Refrig part of the appliance so why not have it at an accesible level?

We have some piece of shit freezer-on-top Frigidaire that came with the house we bought. It works, but it's nothing special.
Wifey and I are very tempted to buy a stand alone freezer to put in the basement or garage. A good size quality freezer tops out around $200.
